Tell me about yourself and your business?

So my business is Trends Beauty Distribution, we specialise if finding the most on trend brands that consumers want and distribute them to salons, pharmacies and department stores in Ireland. It is our goal and passion that everything we do in our business is fresh, new, modern and fun. Making sure we keep your beauty business ahead of the trend.

What do you love about your job?

What I love about my job is everyday is different. Completely different from attending events to doing the more boring office work. And that the sky is the limit. I believe this is the case for anyone that is passionate about what they do. The only limit is your imagination. And I love that.

What is the best career decision you have ever made?

The best career decision I ever made was to quit my job and to jump off the deep end. I had a very nice job with great perks car, etc but once I had the dream of what I wanted to do it wouldn't go away, I knew I just had to do it.  Feel the fear and do it anyway. And I'm so glad I did. There is definitely ups and downs but nothing beats the feeling of knowing your doing what you want with your life.

How do you make decisions?

I'm very impulsive with making decisions, I make decisions very quickly and that is probably my biggest weakness too being very impulsive. So my greatest asset to help with that is my team. I am very blessed with the team I have. And now I bounce it off them more before a final decision is made.

What do you read?

I am currently reading Carrie Greens book, she is a fantastic inspiration and a must for any woman in business. She was the founder of the female entrepreneurs association. If you don't know about her get on it, she is amazing.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone starting out in business what would that be?

The advice I would give someone starting out in business would be. Life is short, do you want to get to the end and be glad you were bold, took risks and went for your dreams. Because anything is possible if you believe it hard enough you can make it or do you want to get to the end and have to deal with the disappointment of knowing you weren't brave enough to go for it. That and, work hard, grow with your business and get out of your businesses way don't let your fear be the reason it fails.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years personally I would like to see myself living a very happy life with my partner in Germany. Professionally being the No1 go to distribution company for on trend beauty products in both Ireland and Germany.

What do you do to relax?

What I do to relax is spend time with my horse. My family are all obsessed with horses and showjumping. I find just taking him out to ride the best form of relaxation and actually I do some of my best thinking when out riding. If I have hit a wall with something I'm trying to work through often the answer will just come to me when out riding.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style, would probably be described as funky and a bit edgy I like to take fashion risks. Granted it doesn't always pay off. Lol

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

I've done a far bit of travel but I would like to do more of America. But I honestly love going back to Germany. I just love Germany. My partner and I have had a long distance relationship for some time now between Switzerland, Germany and here so I really appreciate the time we get to spend together in Germany. He is the one person who can make me relax and de-stress. So I would pick Germany every time.
