Fun times for Doll's Closet...
I just want to fill you all in on whats been going on with Doll's Closet over the past few weeks! We have been super busy with a pop-up shop, a fashion show and a photoshoot besides all of our regular day to day stuff ! I cant complain at all because I am loving it!
For this post I want to tell you all about the Ultimate Girl's Day Out event that we attended a couple of weeks ago. This was the lovely Sinéad De Butléir's event, check out her blog here. I was so excited to have Doll's Closet involved in this event as I have followed Sinéad for awhile now and just love her honesty! She is such a down to earth person! For the event we had a pop-up shop and we showcased a selection of our dresses in the fashion show. We also sponsored the goodie bags!
The event was held in the gorgeous Langton House Hotel in Kilkenny. I had never been to this hotel before or even to Kilkenny before so it was nice to go somewhere new for a change!
My sister Emma and I headed off from Galway that morning and arrived there at around 11.30 am, It took us just over 2 hours to get there so it wasn't too long of a drive at all. We had just enough time to get our pop-up shop ready and do a fitting with the gorgeous girls from Prima Models before everyone started to arrive!
The event took place in the ballroom of the hotel which is done in a theatre style setting. All of the pop-up shops were upstairs and the event was downstairs, it really was the ideal setting for the event and we could watch it all perfectly from upstairs so it was great! The event really lived up to its name...The day was filled with hair, makeup and tan demos, fashion shows, afternoon tea and loads of spot prizes !! Pretty much everything a girl could want!
We had such a fab day and met some lovely new people, we even heard some girls say "Oh look theres Doll's Closet" which totally made our day because it means Doll's Closet's name is getting out there!
For the event, I wore our navy Madison Dress. It was the perfect dress for this event and so many people complimented it! I styled it with pink heels from Penneys and a Take what you need necklace by Mi Moneda ..now it probably would have looked fab with a chunkier necklace aswell but would you believe I was totally last minute and I had none to go with it!
So all in all it was a fab day and we are already looking forward to Sinéad's next event, I am trying to persuade her to come to Galway for it so fingers crossed!!
My dress and the dresses worn by the models are all availabe to purchase from Doll's Closet at the minute but stock is limited!!
