Hi Everyone,

The cold snap has landed and I really don't mind at all. I love winter...hot chocolate, cozy knits and Christmas, what's not to love!

I have put together a list of 5 ways you can give your winter wardrobe life...

1. Let your boots do the talking

Whether it’s a pair of over the knee boots or cute ankle boots everyone loves a new pair of boots for winter. Don’t be afraid to show them off, rock both over the knee boots and ankle boots with a cute dress or your favourite pair of skinny jeans.

2. Embrace the Faux Fur Coat

One thing I find myself buying every winter is a new faux fur coat or jacket. I must admit I am a bit obsessed with faux fur coats for winter (OK let's be honest here, I wear my faux furs all year round). I mean what’s not to love about them? They are super cozy and they give life to the most basic of outfits. If you haven’t already invested in one, go do it. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

3. Wear your summer dress

Yes that’s right, you CAN wear your summer dress in winter…if you add layers that is. Style it with a polo neck or a cozy knit, some tights and a pair of boots. Then throw on your faux fur coat (which you are definitely buying now) and you're good to go!

4. Go glam and wear white

Winter white is so amazingly elegant. A white dress can look so chic for winter. Another winter white look I absolutely love is white skinny jeans paired with over the knee boots and a chunky knit jumper, It is such a gorgeous look.

5. Finish it all off with a hat and scarf

Not just any hat and scarf of course, experiment with different styles and colours. Find a style you love and you will wear it again and again. Right now I am loving blanket scarfs and fedora hats for a full on glam look and my bobble hat of course for when it’s extra cold out.
